‘The Song’ Score Album Feat. Vince Emmett Coming Soon, Watch The Movie Now Playing In Theaters!

Lakeshore Records will release the score album to The Song, directed by Richard Ramsey and stars Alan Powell (frontman of “Anthem Lights”), Ali Faulkner (Twilight: Breaking Dawn) and Caitlin Nicol-Thomas (Nashville).  The album features the score by Vince Emmett (Pharaoh’s Army starring starring Chris Cooper, Patricia Clarkson and Kris Kristofferson).  The Song is now playing in theaters (check show times).  Stay tuned for more information on the album!

After The Fall Soundtrack Feat. Composer Marc Streitenfeld Coming Soon, Wes Bentley Drama Opens In Theaters & On VOD On December 12

Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to After The Fall, starring Wes Bentley (Interstellar, Gone, American Beauty)Vinessa Shaw (Eyes Wide Shut, The Hills Have Eyes) and Haley Bennett (Marley & Me, The Hole).  Featured on the album is the score by Marc Streitenfeld (The Grey, Welcome to the Rileys, Gladiator), an accomplished composer known for his collaborations with Director Ridley Scott.  Directed by Saar Klein, Oscar-nominated editor of The Thin Red Line and Almost Famous,  After The Fall won “Best First Feature Film” at the film’s premiere this past February at the Berlin International Film Festival (read the review at Indiewire).  The film opens in select theaters and on VOD on December 12.

‘Switch’ Soundtrack Feat. Brian Satterwhite Coming Soon

Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to Switch, featuring the score by Brian Satterwhite (Man On A Moon: Richard Garriott’s Road To The Stars, Sushi: The Global Catch).  Switch is a documentary about changing the way we use energy, to realize the many economic and environmental benefits of efficiency.  Over 750 screenings will be held worldwide with the next screening to be held in Washington, PA on Tuesday, November 18, 6:30 p.m. at Washington & Jefferson College (see details).  Stay tuned for more soundtrack information!

Lakeshore Records will release the score album to the critically-acclaimed film, Dear White People, directed by Justin Simien.  Scored by Kathryn Bostic (Middle of Nowhere, I Will Follow), the movie is now playing nationwide (check show times).  In describing her score, Bostic said, “We hear classical, hip hop, electronic, jazz, etc. and it all makes sense and really serves the storytelling.  I got to play around with many different textures alongside orchestral instrumentation.  And of course, as a pianist I loved being able to add this to the score particularly in the ‘love theme’ I created.”  Dear White People (Original Motion Picture Score) is available on iTunes on November 18.  Stay tuned for the download link!
