Cherry: Russo Brothers Film Starring Tom Holland Debuts on Apple TV, Listen To Henry Jackman’s Score!

Cherry, An Apple Original Film premieres today on Apple TV!  To celebrate the release, The Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) will be hosted by the Cleveland Film Commission and Cleveland Institute of Art Cinemateque for the live virtual panel!  Get tickets here.  If after you’ve seen Cherry you’re wanting to go on a deep dive into Henry Jackman’s score, head over to Apple Music for the exclusive listen.  The soundtrack will be available on all other DSPs in April.

Bushwick: Burnt – Directors Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott Premiere The New Black & White Print

Co-directors Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott (Becky, Cooties) have released Bushwick: Burnt, the new black and white print of their 2017 film, Bushwick, starring Dave Bautista and Brittany Snow!  This new black and white version arrives in time for the July 4th weekend and is available in the iTunes Extras section of Apple TV, including other bonus material such as a “making of” video, photo galleries and more.

In celebration of this release, the directors have graciously curated a special Bushwick: Burnt Spotify Playlist on behalf of Lakeshore Records, featuring music by Aesop Rock (from the soundtrack), Ghostface Killah, Ben Frost, Cannibal Ox and many others who inspired them during the filming.  Listen below the jump.

For fans of Jeff Russo’s film score work, the arrival of Lucy In The Sky – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on uncompressed audiophile CD format couldn’t come soon enough!  Available now in stores and online, the 28-track album was originally released digitally worldwide last month on Lakeshore Records.

If you’ve been following his releases to Noah Hawley collaborations (such as the acclaimed TV series “Legion” and “Fargo“), then you know you’re in for a fantastical ride.  The Cultress recently caught up with Jeff to talk about his work to date.  Jeff talks about how he transitioned from being in a GRAMMY®-winning rock band (Tonic) to composing and creating EMMY®-winning compositions “from an emotional place.”  Read the interview now at The Cultress.
