Farrow”), Kathryn Bostic (the forthcoming Amy Tan: Unintended Memoir), Kris Bowers (“Bridgerton”), and Mark Crawford  (The Social Dilemma) in conversation live on YouTube this Thursday, August 19 (6:30 PM PT)!  Presented by Lakeshore Records and The Society of Composers & Lyricists (The SCL), the panel discussion will be moderated by film music journalist Tim Greiving.

The Stairs: Watch A Free Screening For The Film Festival Sensation (Los Angeles)

Fair warning: we’re not sure you’ll want to go hiking after you watch The Stairs.  If you’re in Los Angeles, Dread Central is hosting a free screening of the forthcoming horror film (in theaters Thursday, August 12).  It’s not too late: RSVP now at Dread Central.

The Gold Derby’s ‘Meet the BTL Experts’: Join EMMY Nominees Michael Abels, Kris Bowers and More (August 2)

Join EMMY Nominees Michael Abels (HBO’s “Allen v. Farrow“), Kris Bowers (Netflix/Shondaland’s “Bridgerton“) for The Gold Derby’s “Meet the BTL Experts” Q&A event!  Each person will participate in two video discussions to premiere on Monday, August 2, at 5:00 p.m. PT; 8:00 p.m. ET.  RSVP now at The Gold Derby online.  

Also joining them are fellow nominees Christopher Lennertz (Amazon’s “The Boys“) and Steven Price (Netflix’s “David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet“).

Lakeshore Records recently released the Emmy-nominated scores to Allen v. Farrow and Bridgerton; both soundtracks are out now digitally on all major music services.

Join Emmy-Winning and Emmy-Nominated Composers Jeff Russo, Kris Bowers, Ruth Barrett and Siddhartha Khosla, as a 50-piece orchestra performs their scores from critically acclaimed and fan-favorite shows such as Fargo, Oslo, Star Trek: Discovery, Bridgerton, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and This Is Us. Filmed at Fox Studios on the Newman Scoring Stage, audience members will also see exclusive interviews with each of these Composers.

Join Bridgerton Composer Kris Bowers and Music Supervisor Alexandra Patsavas for an exclusive screening and Live Stream Q&A on Tuesday, June 15 (6:30 PM PST), courtesy of The Society of Composers & Lyricists (The SCL)!  Moderated by Jazz Tangcay (Variety), the event is free to SCL members.  A screening link will be provided 10 minutes prior to the Q&A upon registration. 

Attendees can ask questions on YouTube chat, and the SCL Host will pass them on to the Moderator. The SCL Member Code of Conduct applies to online Q&As.
