Malice: Alexis Grapsas Amazon Series Score Releases Digitally, Thriller Starring David Duchovny Now Streaming!

“Alexis’s score evoked the tone of Malice so brilliantly — unsettlingly off-kilter, yet with wit and even a sense of hope. We’re so proud of it, and of the collaboration that made it possible.” – Producer Imogen Cooper

We’re thrilled to share the release of Malice—Prime Video Original Series Soundtrack, available digitally today, November 14, featuring music by composer Alexis Grapsas (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One).  Grapsas’s score immediately sets a deceptively dark tone with sharp orchestration and electronics yet actually evokes a twisted playfulness, and experimentation throughout.  Listen to the track, “Such A Mess” featured below; in addition, view the album track list and more details about Malice.

Malice starring David Duchovny, Jack Whitehall and Carice Van Houten is streaming worldwide now on Prime Video.

Notes Grapsas: “‘Malice’ offered me the creative freedom to experiment with new palettes and craft a unique sounding score. In an attempt to explore a world of playful thriller—where dark humor and tension coexist—the music invites the audience to share in the mischief, even amidst devious moments. Enjoy the ride!”

Director Mike Barker notes: “Alexis Grapsas threaded a really fine needle with this soundtrack — it’s original, dark, and intriguing, but also a whole lot of fun. Which is exactly what I had making it with him!”

Adds director Lenora Londsale: “Alexis managed to conjure up this taut, pulsating and atmospheric score for Malice that walked a delicate tightrope between enhancing the tension and underscoring levity. His musical soundscape was always surprising, rich and totally transportative.”

And, producer Imogen Cooper adds: ‘Alexis’s score evoked the tone of Malice so brilliantly — unsettlingly off-kilter, yet with wit and even a sense of hope. We’re so proud of it, and of the collaboration that made it possible.’
