Says Bertelmann: “Working on Your Honor was a huge pleasure. The showrunner Peter Moffat gave me a lot of freedom to experiment and in my collaboration with director Edward Berger on the first three episodes, we set the tonality for the show. I worked with him previously on Patrick Melrose and it is a gift to have had him as a collaborator once again. The diversity that the score demanded granted me the opportunity to experiment with many different instruments and that is what I love most about the process of creating a score. I experimented with numerous prepared piano sounds, diverse percussion instruments, a bass clarinet, and recorded a lot of breathing noises and textures—all of which are featured on the soundtrack. I am very thankful that I could be a part of such a well-crafted series.”

The 10-episode legal thriller stars Cranston as Michael Desiato, a respected New Orleans judge whose teenage son, Adam (Hunter Doohan), is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. SAG Award winner Michael Stuhlbarg (Call Me By Your Name) stars as Jimmy Baxter, the much-feared head of a crime family opposite Emmy and Golden Globe® nominee Hope Davis (For the People) as his wife, Gina, who might be even more dangerous than her husband. The series also stars Carmen Ejogo (Selma), Isiah Whitlock Jr. (The Wire), and Sofia Black-D’Elia (The Night Of).

YOUR HONOR, produced by CBS Studios in association with King Size Productions, is based on the Israeli series Kvodo created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach. Peter Moffat, Edward Berger, Robert & Michelle King, Liz Glotzer, Bryan Cranston, James Degus, Rob Golenberg, Alon Aranya, Ninio, Mashiach, Ram Landes, Ron Eilon and Danna Stern serve as executive producers.
