Lakeshore Releases ‘Home’ Season 1: Episode V, Maine – Amanda Jones Makes EMMY Award History | Gold Derby

Lakeshore Records has released Amanda Jones’ scores from Home Season 1: Episode V, Maine digitally on all major music services.  Lakeshore previously released the series soundtrack featuring various artists.  This new release features 10 tracks of Amanda’s compositions with seven that were previously unreleased.  See the track list and more below.

Amanda’s score to Home earned her a Primetime EMMY® award, making history as the first Black female nominee for composing a score!  Watch this interview with Gold Derby where she shares her experience working with the Apple TV+ team, what instruments she used for the episode, and her thoughts on her nomination!

Although she also scored the likes of “A Black Lady Sketch Show” and “Twenties” this season, Jones is nominated in Best Documentary Music for the “Maine” episode of “Home” on Apple TV+. Jones laughs about scoring the largely dialogue-free footage of the Soot House that the episode explores. – Gold Derby
