‘The Rental’ No. 1 Weekend Box Office! Score By Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans Out Now

Horror film The Rental secures the No. 1 box office spot in the opening weekend, as reported by Deadline!  In addition to its theatrical opening at drive-ins across the country, The Rental also grabbed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Movies – a stellar launch for an indie movie and for Dave Franco’s directorial debut!

The film also features score by acclaimed film and television composing duo Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans (“The Outsider”, “Ozark”, The One I Love), available now digitally on Lakeshore Records.  Listen now below.

Bensi and Jurriaans create a masterfully atmospheric and otherworldly score for the tension-filled thriller directed by Dave Franco (his directorial debut). – Dread Central

Two couples on an oceanside getaway grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them. Before long, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister, as well-kept secrets are exposed and the four old friends come to see each other in a whole new light. Alison Brie, Dan Stevens, Jeremy Allen White and Sheila Vand star in this unnerving and sophisticated debut thriller from Dave Franco (NEIGHBORS, IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK, THE DISASTER ARTIST).

IFC Films presents THE RENTAL, now playing in theaters and on VOD!
