Screen ‘City Of Gold’ In Memoriam To Jonathan Gold, Score By Bobby Johnston
This Saturday would have marked Jonathan Gold’s 58th birthday. As a city and community in mourning, landmarks from L.A. City Hall to the Santa Monica ferris wheel will be lit up in gold to celebrate the life of the man who has fed and championed this city like no other.
In memoriam to Pulitzer Prize-winning Food Critic Jonathan Gold, who passed away on July 21, LA Chinatown’s Central Plaza will hold screenings of the Sundance Award-nominated documentary, City Of Gold, on his life and impact on Los Angeles. Head over to the Plaza’s food truck alley at 6:15, 8:15 and 10:15. More details at Chinatown LA online.
