New Soundtrack Releases: Tag, 12 Monkeys, Future World, Stranger Things 2 Cassette + More!

This week, Lakeshore Records presents a collection of new film and television soundtrack releases you don’t want to miss, including: Tag (Score by Germaine Franco), 12 Monkeys (score by Stephen Barton), Future World (score by TOYDRUM), and Saturday Church (original music by Nathan Larson); plus new Stranger Things Season 1 and Season 2 releases you don’t want to miss!  Also, three can’t-miss albums debut on Bandcamp, and another composer power-duo soundtrack release is on the horizon.  Keep reading to get the details.

Lakeshore Records is pleased to present Germaine Franco’s feature film score to Tag, available now digitally worldwide!  Rising through the ranks as assistant, orchestrator and music producer on numerous John Powell scores, Germaine is also notably known for recently co-producing the Oscar-lauded songs and Mexico sessions for Disney’s multicultural hit “Coco.”  Tag movie hits theaters now, starring a don’t blink ensemble cast: Jeremy Renner, Annabel Wallis, Ed Helms, Jon Hamm, Hannibal Buress, Isla Fisher, Rashida Jones and more!

The “Original Series Soundtrack” takes the listener on the same emotional journeys and missions to different time periods that Team Splinter experiences – Den Of Geek

Lakeshore is honored to release Stephen Barton’s score to 12 Monkeys, now in its fourth and final season. The acclaimed Syfy series is based on the 1995 feature film.  Fans of the entire TV series will want to download the album and give it a listen.

Two time travelers, Cole and Cassie, must journey throughout time to prevent the Army of the 12 Monkeys from destroying all reality.

Tune in: The first three episodes of the final 12 Monkeys season airs 8 PM ET June 15 on Syfy (check local listings).

Featuring music performed by the cast including Luka Kain, Marquis Rodriguez and Margot Bingham, the Saturday Church soundtrack is comprised of original music by composer and co-lyricist Nathan Larson.  Larson’s substantial credits include BOYS DON’T CRY, Todd Solondz’s PALINDROMES, songs for Todd Haynes’ VELVET GOLDMINE, LILJA 4-EVER, Stephen Frears’s DIRTY PRETTY THINGS, and many more.
