Throwback Thursday: Revisiting ‘The Spectacular Now’ Score By Rob Simonsen
Composer Rob Simonsen is no stranger to collaborating on great coming of age films. Before his work in Love Simon, film music fans, guitarists and teens alike became obsessed with his score to The Spectacular Now, directed by James Ponsoldt (The End of the Tour) and starring Shailene Woodley (Divergent, White Bird In A Blizzard), Miles Teller (Divergent, Whiplash), Brie Larson (Free Fire, Room), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Swiss Army Man, 10 Cloverfield Lane) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Annihilation, Anomalisa).
