Digital Releases Out Now:
Altered Carbon (Original Soundtrack): [get it here]
Score by Jeff Russo.
Sune’s half-whispered vocal style definitely makes this a double-take cover, as does the piano hook at the beginning that has shades of The Exorcist theme. – Bill Pearls, Brooklyn Vegan
Skydance presents ALTERED CARBON, now streaming on Netflix!
The Ritual (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – [get it here]
Score by Ben Lovett.
Lovett describes his mandate on the score here in very simple terms – “I wanted to make The Ritual sound like it looked.” – and that decision led him to work exclusively with instruments made of wood in collaboration with the London Contemporary Orchestra, who are also known for their work on Jonny Greenwood’s scores. And the results are impressive. – Screen Anarchy
Imaginarium UK and eOne Films presents THE RITUAL, now streaming on Netflix!
Abe & Phil’ Last Poker Game (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – [get it here]
Score by Steven Argila.
The more I listen to this score the more it reminds of the way Thomas Newman writes. And just like a light Thomas Newman score I like the general feeling of peace and sun the music gives me. – Soundtrack Dreams
Annihilation (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – [pre-order here]
Score by Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow.
Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow team up once more with Ex Machina director Alex Garland to compose the score to Annihilation, starring Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tessa Thompson. Their previous collaborations also include Free Fire and “Black Mirror: Men Against Fire”. More soundtrack details coming soon!
ANNIHILATION in theaters Friday, February 23!
