Tom Schutzinger’s brutal synth score to RED is only part of the story. Two-time Academy Award® Winner Cate Blanchett has her pick of movies, so when she chose to star in RED, directed by Del Kathryn Barton, it must be good. “A surreal savage tale of female power,” (ABC Australia), Blanchett re-enacts the deadly mating ritual of the Australian redback spider.

When Leon Kaufman’s (Bradley Cooper) latest body of work — a collection of provocative, nighttime studies of the city and its inhabitants — earns the struggling photographer interest from prominent art galleries Susan Hoff (Brooke Shields), she propels him to get grittier and show the dark side of humanity for his upcoming debut at her downtown art space. Believing he’s finally on track for success, Leon’s obsessive pursuit of dark subject matter leads him into the path of a serial killer, Mahogany (Vinnie Jones), the subway murderer who stalks late-night commuters. Jack Black and James Marsden team up for this high school reunion comedy. Brought to you by the comedic geniuses behind Nacho Libre and Wayne’s World, and co-starring Kathryn Hahn and Jeffrey Tambor, The D Train is the ultimate bromance gone wrong. Score by Andrew Dost of the band Fun. Andy McCluskey (of OMD), Rob Kroehler (of Ladylike), Jack Antonoff (of Fun.) and Andrew Dost (of Fun.) form a temporary supergroup for the track, “A Million Stars.”
