Congratulations goes to Director David Michôd and the The Rover team, who received seven Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts (AACTA) Awards nominations.  The AACTA Awards are the equivalent of the Oscars® and the BAFTAs.  Among the seven award nominations are:

1. Best Direction – David Michôd
2. Best Sound – Sam Petty, Des Kenneally, Justine Angus, Brooke Trezise, Francis Ward Lindsay and Robert Mackenzie
3. Best Original Music Score – Antony Partos & Sam Petty
4. Best Production Design – Jo Ford
5. Best Lead Actor – Guy Pearce
6. Best Supporting Actor – Robert Pattinson
7. Best Supporting Actress – Susan Prior
