Premiere: VH x RR Debuts ‘The Long Goodbye’ Lyric Video For The Persistence of Memory EP | Vehlinggo

Musically, people interested in acts like Depeche Mode, Information Society, and, well, Cause and Effect, will find great solace in the songs’ evocative sonic and vocal landscape. Ahead of VH x RR’s release of The Long Goodbye, their debut EP on Lakeshore Records, the duo has premiered the lyric video to the song exclusively on Vehlinggo!  Furthermore, Vehlinggo offers further details on the genesis of the album and the involvement of a mastering engineer and music producer who has worked with some of the music industry’s biggest bands and artists, such as the GRAMMY®-nominated Tycho.  The article is a must-read for those who want to learn more about VH x RR.

As previously announced on Soundtracks, Scores and More, Lakeshore Records will release VH x RR’s forthcoming EP, The Persistence of Memory, out June 12, 2020 on all major digital music services.  With just a month away from the release, Soundtracks, Scores and More is delighted to premiere a teaser of the first track, “Calm Down Lover”, a song featuring vocals by Rob Rowe (the RR in the VH x RR).  If you’re excited about the clip, expect to hear more in the weeks to come.

Synthwave Duo VH x RR To Release Their New Carl Sagan Inspired EP on Lakeshore Records

Get ready for the second coming of synthwave duo VH x RR (Kent “Von” Hertzog and Rob Rowe).  Their forthcoming EP, Persistence of Memory, inspired by the ideas behind the episode, “Persistence of Memory” from Carl Sagan’s iconic PBS Series, “Cosmos,” the album how our personal and collective intelligence is important to nostalgia.

The five-track EP is expected to release next month on Lakeshore Records.  Stay tuned for more album details.  In the meantime, take advantage of Bandcamp’s fundraiser for artists, in which Bandcamp waives their revenue share and artists on Bandcamp receive 100% of their revenue on May 1.
