My favorite cue might be ‘Libby Goes Down’, specially for the part that starts around 4:01 which is a brilliant and powerful ending to a great track that has been building up to a finale. It is a mix of synth, electric guitar, percussion and choir. – Soundtrack Geek

Throwback Thursday: Revisiting ‘The Belko Experiment’ Director Greg McLean’s ‘Wolf Creek 2’ Film

Lakeshore Records: Wolf Creek 2 Soundtrack Cover

In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we go down memory lane with director Greg McLean (The Belko Experiment) on his Wolf Creek 2 film.  Lakeshore Records released the Wolf Creek 2 score in 2014 featuring Johnny Klimek.  If you’ve seen Wolf Creek, then you’ll recall the relentless suspense and horror brought upon by the maniacal Mick Taylor (played by the fantastic John Jarratt) when an unsuspecting couple cross paths with him in the Australian Outback (stream the movie on Netflix).  Wolf Creek was a huge hit in Australia, and after the Wolf Creek 2 film made its way through theaters, the TV series was spawned.

Here in the U.S., we are fortunate to see a new thriller directed by McLean in the form of THE BELKO EXPERIMENT, out in theaters March 17.   You can pre-order The Belko Experiment score by Tyler Bates here.  Have you been following Greg McLean’s films?  Let us know in the comments below!
