Inspired by actual events, the incredible story of “the most haunted house in the world” takes place at the Winchester mansion, located 50 miles outside of San Francisco. Once owned by Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearms magnate William Wirt Winchester, the 24,000-square-foot Winchester mansion was brought to life in the 2018 film by the Spierig brothers: Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig (Jigsaw, Daybreakers).
