Last year, Australian composers Ned Beckley and Josh Hogan came together to collaborate as the duo, Beckley&Hogan, to “showcase their respective strengths in production and how they complement each other” musically.
Starring Ryan Corr (Wolf Creek 2, Holding The Man) and Golden Globe® and EMMY® Winner Anthony LaPaglia (“Without A Trace”, “Frasier”), Below movie is described by The Guardian as “Fight Club meets Australian immigration detention.” Watch the movie trailer below.
Director Greg McLean will be bringing Wolf Creek to Australian TV, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. The six-part drama series will star John Jarratt, who will reprise his role as Mick Taylor the serial killer, and actors Lucy Fry (11/22/63, 6 Miranda Drive) and Deborah Mailman (The Sapphires, Rabbit-Proof Fence) will co-star. No word on whether the series will make it stateside, but we can only hope. This is the third film Jarratt has starred in for Writer and Director Greg McLean. Director Quentin Tarantino is widely reported to being a big fan of Jarratt, who originally cast him in Grindhouse.
