GRAMMYs 2020: Nicholas Britell’s Academy Award Nominated ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’

As we head into the end of the year, we take a look back at one of the most unforgettable film scores of the year: Nicholas Britell’s If Beale Street Could Talk!  The Barry Jenkins-helmed film and Britell’s score earned critical acclaim far and wide, garnering eight reviews over at Birth.Movies.Death, including a rapturous review of the score.  The film’s Regina King won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Awards for the film, Jenkins earned a nomination for Best Adapted Screen Play, and Britell received the Best Score Oscar nomination.
