Lakeshore Records is pleased to release Winter On Fire (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – out now! The album features score by Jasha Klebe (Captain Phillips, Assassin’s Creed III game). An “Official Selection” at the Venice, Telluride and Toronto International Film Festivals, Winter On Fire has been shortlisted by The Academy for documentaries who qualify to be nominated for the Oscars®. The nominations will be announced on January 14, 2016.

The Academy Shortlists ‘Cartel Land’ And ‘Winter On Fire’ For Best Documentary

The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has shortlisted acclaimed documentaries Cartel Land, directed by Matthew Heineman, and Winter On Fire: Ukraine’s Fight For Freedom, directed by Evgeny Afineevsky. Both films — with soundtrack releases on Lakeshore Records — are among only 15 nominees named this morning on The Academy’s Best Documentary shortlist. Read the full story at The Wrap. Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to Winter On Fire: Ukraine’s Fight For Freedom, acclaimed documentary written and directed by Evgeny Afineevsky. The album features score by Jasha Klebe (Captain Phillips, Assassin’s Creed III game). An “Official Selection” at the Venice, Telluride and Toronto International Film Festivals, Winter On Fire is the recipient of “The Grolsch People’s Choice Documentary Award” at Toronto.
