Featured On Netflix: Horns – Daniel Radcliffe Goes Through Hell And Back For Girlfriend Played By Juno Temple, Score Album & Various Artists Soundtracks Now Available On iTunes!
If you’re looking for a fun date night movie to watch — perhaps for Valentine’s Day — then check out Horns on Netflix, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple. “Ig Perish” (Daniel Radcliffe) is devastated when his girlfriend (Juno Temple) is murdered mysteriously. Supernatural things start happening just as he begins to investigate her murder while trying to prove his innocence; however, he looks more and more guilty because, well, he sprouts horns on his head. The score by Robin Coudert lends to the surreal and dark atmosphere while music from the likes of David Bowie, and Pixies, The Flaming Lips and Marilyn Manson, gives it that rock ‘n’ roll fable edge that delighted audiences when the film premiered last Halloween.
Film music critic Daniel Schweiger has announced his “Best Scores of 2014” at Film Music Magazine, and of the top 10 on the list, James Newton Howard’s score for Nightcrawler was named, plus five more film scores released by Lakeshore Records had other honorable mentions. See the list below.
A fable-like horror mystery with strong comic and romantic tendencies, Alexandre Aja’s Horns draws on source material by cult scribe (and son of Stephen King) Joe Hill to deliver something much more beguiling than the straighter genre fare (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes) that made his name. -John Fiore, The Hollywood Reporter
Lakeshore Records is excited to release Horns (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), the new soundtrack album featuring music by various artists: David Bowie, Trent Dabbs, Pixies, The Shivers, Marilyn Manson, Wanton Bishops, Eels, Brass Action, Junip, The Flaming Lips and Sunset Rubdown. “Another character, perhaps even more important than the visual imagery is the music and sound of the film,” said the film’s director Alexandre Aja. “It underscores the novel, as devil mythology is rich and pervasive in rock and roll history. It is not without coincidence that Ig’s family is a family of musicians, and that Terry is a trumpet player. (In fact the town name, Gideon is a reference to a trumpet playing angel in the Bible.)”
Horns, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple and Heather Graham, opens in theaters on October 31 (check showtimes).

Horns (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack): iTunes | CD coming soon
Horns is an audacious, wonderfully twisted romantic horror fantasy. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen and probably will see from the genre in some time. –Bloody Disgusting
