‘Hannibal’ Season 2 Soundtrack Available Today, Music By Critically-Acclaimed Composer Brian Reitzell

Comic-Con: ‘Hannibal’ Producer Bryan Fuller Announces Soundtrack By Brian Reitzell +The Full Play-By-Play At #SDCC14!

At San Diego Comic-Con (#SDCC14), Producer Bryan Fuller reveals to fans that four volumes of the Hannibal music — two for each season — will be released [by Lakeshore Records], with the first to be released on August 5. The music, composed by Brian Reitzell, has received rave reviews. Not everyone could experience the excitement of sitting in on the NBC Hannibal panel at SDCC entitled, “Embrace The Madness,” but you can read the full play-by-play live-blog at HitFix, written by Alan Sepinwall.

Many secrets were revealed for NBC Hannibal Season Three and Season Four. Conference attendee: “Is it true season 3 starts a year after season 2?”

Minnesota Public Radio Interviews Composer Brian Reitzell On ‘Hannibal’

“His skills have been enlisted by a number of modern storytellers — including filmmaker Sofia Coppola, with whom Reitzell has worked as music supervisor and composer on a number of acclaimed films. Drawing on his training in percussion and sound experimentation, Reitzell is able to evoke core elements of the human experience in ways familiar, yet altogether new.” Read the full story at Minnesota Public Radio online.

Composer Brian Reitzell, known for his television score work in Boss (Original Television Score) — a Lakeshore Records release, as well as his music supervising for Sofia Coppola films like Lost In Translation, is currently scoring NBC’s Hannibal television series, which just renewed for a third season.
