New Soundtrack: Miriam Cutler’s EMMY-Nominated ‘Love, Gilda’ Documentary Score Debuts!

Directed by Lisa D’Apolito, Love, Gilda received two EMMY® nominations for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special, and Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (Original Dramatic Score) for composer Miriam Cutler!  In our previous announcement, we uncovered how Miriam was instrumental in getting the Television Academy to finally recognize documentary scores (Hollywood Reporter),   The soundtrack – Love, Gilda – Original Score is out now digitally on Lakeshore Records!  See links and more below.

‘Love, Gilda’: How Composer Miriam Cutler Spearheaded The EMMY Documentary Score Category | Hollywood Reporter

Thanks to Love, Gilda composer Miriam Cutler, the Television Academy is recognizing nonfiction documentary music for the first time this year.  Find out how she did it now at The Hollywood Reporter.  Cutler herself received two EMMY® nominations this year for her compositions, one of which is for Love, Gilda.  Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack digitally this Friday, August 9.  More album details are forthcoming.
