In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we feature composer Brian Reitzell’s score to Hannibal, the acclaimed NBC television series starring Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy. As part of our month-long celebration of horror soundtracks, we’re serving up all three seasons of score, released on Lakeshore Records.

Lakeshore Records is very pleased to release two new volumes of music from the third and final season of the Gaumont Television and NBC television series Hannibal, composed by Brian Reitzell (Lost In Translation, Boss). The Hannibal, Season 3 Volumes 1 & 2 Original Television Soundtracks will be available digitally on December 11 and on CD in early 2016. The two volumes also contain the original songs, “Love Crime” (from ‘The Wrath of The Lamb’), which features Siouxsie Sioux, and “Snake Charmer,” which features Marc Almond. ‘Game Of Thrones’ Actor Pedro Pascal Stars In ‘Narcos’ Drama | Variety

Functioning as a history lesson as well as a compelling drama, “Narcos” has a “Goodfellas” vibe, inasmuch as it offers a heavily narrated, first-person account of the rise of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, and the DEA’s attempts to thwart him. Detailing cocaine’s rise as a Colombian cash crop and its rapid spread into the U.S. in the late 1980s, the sparely told project weaves together a taut, gripping narrative, in stark contrast with the flatness of its characters and color scheme. –Variety
