Lakeshore Records is very pleased to release The Boy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) — available now!  The CD will follow on February 19.  The Boy movie stars Lauren Cohan (AMC’s “The Walking Dead”) and Rupert Evans (Amazon’s “The Man In The High Castle”, The Canal).  The album features original score by Bear McCreary (Starz’s “Outlander”, The Forest, AMC’s “The Walking Dead”, ABC’S “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), and the song, “In My Dream” by Brendan McCreary (Syfy’s “Defiance”) and performed by Fyfe Monroe.  Read further for more soundtrack details.

Here at SHOCK, we’re big fans of composer Bear McCreary; not just for his work on AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD but for his music in a myriad motion pictures… His compositions in director William Brent Bell’s haunted doll movie THE BOY (opening this Friday in select theaters and originally known as THE INHABITANT) is no exception.  But outside of McCreary’s music, THE BOY boasts original songs by his brother and frequent collaborator Brendan McCreary.  – Shock Till You Drop

The Boy: Score By Bear McCreary (Outlander) Coming Soon, Film Stars Lauren Cohan And Rupert Evans

The movie, which is directed by “The Devil Inside” helmer William Brent Bell, looks terrifying. – Shaunna Murphy, MTV

Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to The Boy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), digitally on January 22 and CD on February 19.  The Boy movie stars Lauren Cohan (AMC’s “The Walking Dead”) and Rupert Evans (Amazon’s “The Man In The High Castle”, The Canal).  The album features original score by Bear McCreary (Starz’s “Outlander”, The Forest, AMC’s “The Walking Dead”, ABC’S “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), and the song, “In My Dream” by Brendan McCreary (Syfy’s “Defiance”) and performed by Fyfe Monroe.  More soundtrack details forthcoming.

Defiance: Get To Know Brendan McCreary, The Syfy Series’ Songwriter | Build The Song
