Free Music Fridays: Celebrate Pride Month With The Pariah Soundtrack

Ahead of Focus Features’ Pride Month livestreaming event for Dee Rees’ 2011 Sundance film, Pariah, Lakeshore Records is featuring the soundtrack this week for Free Music Fridays!   The album features a compilation of songs from the film such as  “My Neck, My Back” by Khia, “Pearl” by Tamar-kali, “Do You” by Kandi Cole, and more.

New Soundtrack: Listen To Marcelo Zarvos’ Score To ‘Dark Waters’, Film Now Playing!

Throwback Thursday: Joaquin Phoenix In ‘Reservation Road’ (Mark Isham Score)

In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we take a look back at one of Joaquin Phoenix’s vintage movies, Reservation Road, featuring score by acclaimed composer Mark Isham!  The film was released almost exactly 10 years prior to his latest film, You Were Never Really Here.  Helmed by Hotel Rwanda and The Promise Director Terry George, the film also stars Jennifer Connolly and Mark Ruffalo.  It’s another dark and moody film to add to your Joaquin Phoenix movie queue.  Have you been a long-time follower of Joaquin Phoenix’s career?
