Charming Comedy Offers Classic Laughs With a Modern Twist – IndieWire

Opening in theaters Friday, June 7 is the new comedy from Amazon Studios, directed by Nisha Ganatra (Chutney Popcorn, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), written and produced by Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project, The Office), and stars Emma Thompson, Kaling, Hugh Dancy and John Lithgow. 

The film also features original score is by multi-instrumentalist, conductor and pianist, Lesley Barber (Manchester By the Sea, You Can Count On Me).  See the track list below.

Premiere: Listen To Two Debut Tracks From Laika/Annapurna’s ‘Missing Link’ Film | Billboard

The toe-tapper recalls some of Randy Newman’s film song work, with the same lighthearted sense of bonhomie. – Melinda Newman, Billboard

Premiering today at Billboard are two track from the forthcoming Missing Link – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack: “Do-Dilly-Do (A Friend Like You)” song by Walter Martin (of The Walkmen) and “Westward Ho”, cue by Academy Award®-nominated Composer Carter Burwell (Anomalisa, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). “Do-Dilly-Do (A Friend Like You)” appears in the film’s end credits. You can listen to both tracks in full exclusively at Billboard, ahead of the full album release. The song will be available as an instant-grat track March 22 on Apple Music and iTunes via Lakeshore Records. The full album will be released on Friday, April 12. See the track list below.
