Lakeshore Records and Ubisoft have teamed up once again to release Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath Of The Druids—Original Game Soundtrack featuring music by Los Angeles-based composer Max Aruj and Norwegian musician Einar Selvik of folk/world band Wardruna, as well as vocals and whistle by Julie Fowlis. The album is the companion to Ubisoft’s first expansion of its hit game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In Wrath Of The Druids, Eivor is summoned to Ireland, diving deep into Gaelic myths and folklore. Lakeshore Records in partnership with Ubisoft are set to release Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Wave of Giants on both “Opaque White” vinyl and a special limited-edition “Evergreen” vinyl that feature music by Norwegian musician Einar Selvik of folk/world band Wardruna. Selvik shares ten evocative tracks steeped in Nordic musical traditions that further enliven the authentic ethnography of the Viking culture in the best-selling game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Selvik is well known for his work on The History Channel’s “Vikings” series.
The opaque white edition will be released on June 4 and available at major retailers.
Its music, which Kyd and Schachner created alongside collaborator Einar Selvik (also of the traditionally rooted, Nordic folk act Wardruna), reflects Valhalla’s grandiosity. – Bandcamp

We learn how all three artists (including Einar Selvik) collaborated across three countries to produce this hit video game soundtrack that has been all the rage since its October 2020 release via Lakeshore Records and Ubisoft Music.
