Join Bridgerton Composer Kris Bowers and Music Supervisor Alexandra Patsavas for an exclusive screening and Live Stream Q&A on Tuesday, June 15 (6:30 PM PST), courtesy of The Society of Composers & Lyricists (The SCL)!  Moderated by Jazz Tangcay (Variety), the event is free to SCL members.  A screening link will be provided 10 minutes prior to the Q&A upon registration. 

Attendees can ask questions on YouTube chat, and the SCL Host will pass them on to the Moderator. The SCL Member Code of Conduct applies to online Q&As.

Bridgerton Is Netflix’s Biggest Hit Ever, Seasons 2 Renewed!

Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland TV series “Bridgerton” on Netflix has taken the world by storm!  As reported in Vanity Fair, Netflix reported the series “ranked number one overall in 83 separate countries, including the U.S., U.K., Brazil, France, South Africa, Singapore, India, and Thailand”; making Bridgerton the platform’s “biggest series ever” as it was watched in a record 82 million households globally.  (Deadline) And, yes, the series has already been renewed for a Season 2!

Both the Kris Bowers score album and the classical covers soundtrack (Vitamin String Quartet, Duomo) have also been persistently charting at the Top 10 and No. 1 spot on the iTunes soundtrack charts and on Billboard’s Classical charts.  Have you had a chance to immerse yourself in the music of “Bridgerton?”   The soundtracks are out now via Lakeshore Records.
