2023 HMMA Award Nominations Announced: Kris Bowers, John Carney, Gary Clark, John Powell and More Are Honored

The 2023 Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) nominations have been announced!  Leading the list includes John Carney and Gary Clark’s song, “High Life” with two song nominations!  Performed by Eve Hewson, Orén Kinlan, Jack Reynor, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt from Flora and Son (Apple Original Film), the upbeat song is quite a spotlight.  The soundtrack released by Lakeshore Records is one of a total of 9 nominations this year for the label.  View the full list online at HMMAwards.com.  Congratulations to all nominees this year!

The 14th HMMA Awards will take place on November 15, 2023 at The Avalon in Los Angeles, California.

The Rising: Carly Paradis’ Haunting Score Releases Digitally, Series Now Streaming on Sky TV & NOW

Lakeshore Records has released The Rising–Original Series Soundtrack featuring music by BAFTA and Royal Television Society-nominated composer Carly Paradis (Line of Duty, Prime Suspect: 1973).  The soundtrack is available now globally on all major digital music services. The Rising: Supernatural Crime Series Premieres April 22 on Sky Max and NOW

Supernatural crime thriller The Rising is coming to Sky Max and NOW this Friday, April 22.  Series stars Clara Rugaard (I Am Mother), Nicholas Gleaves, William Ash, and more.  The stylish new series also features score by award-winning composer Carly Paradis (The Innocents).  More details coming soon.

“Neve Kelly (Clara Rugaard) is dead. Understandably, she’s scared and confused by this new (non) existence, but moreover, when she realises she has been murdered, she’s furious. Determined to find her killer and get justice, she takes advantage of her new supernatural abilities to go where the police can’t and investigate her own death. In doing so, she uncovers deeply buried secrets and is forced to re-examine everything about her life and the people she cared about.“
