Tune In: Canter To Debut ‘Hemlock’ on Que4 Radio From Forthcoming Album, Returning To The Same Place

Chicago-based dark synthpop band Canter is set to appear live on Que4 Radio (Chicago) tonight for an interview and to perform the track, “Hemlock” from their forthcoming album Returning To The Same Place!  The band, whose previous contribution to the cinematic universe includes the score to the short, Through The Wide Gate, are no strangers to storytelling through music in the film music world.  Tune in tonight and stream the show at 9:30 PM CT on Que4 Radio online.

Premiere: Listen To Canter’s Debut Single From Their Forthcoming Album on Lakeshore Records | Vehlinggo

Lakeshore Records will release the forthcoming album, Returning To The Same Place by Chicago-based band, Canter.  The 12-track album “showcases a vintage analog synth palette that incorporates elements of synth-pop, electronic rock, darkwave, post-punk and krautrock.”  Premiering today is the single, “Call It Safe” off the album, and you can listen in full now at Vehlinggo!

And for the film music fans, Canter previously scored the 1970s psychological drama, Through The Wide Gate.

“Call It Safe” is out on September 13, and the full album will be released digitally Friday, October 11 on Lakeshore Records.  In addition, the record will be available on vinyl soon from Burning Witches Records (stay tuned).
