‘Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road’ Debuts June 14 (9 PM EST) Nationally on PBS!

If you missed Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road in theaters, then PBS is about to make your dreams come true.  Explore the life and career of Brian Wilson, singer, songwriter and co-founder of The Beach Boys, as he and Rolling Stone editor Jason Fine drive around Los Angeles. American Masters – Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road features Wilson’s candid reflections on his life and legendary career. It includes interviews with Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Nick Jonas, Linda Perry, Jim James, Gustavo Dudamel and Al Jardine and introduces “Right Where I Belong,” an original song written and performed by Brian Wilson and Jim James for this film.

Premiere: Listen to Brian Wilson and Jim James’ New Song For ‘Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road’ | Rolling Stone

Lakeshore Records is set to release Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally November 26 featuring music by The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson. The album contains unreleased tracks, alternate versions of classic songs, and a new song by Wilson and Jim James, “Right Where I Belong,” all combine to provide a key element of the documentary film as well as a transcendent backdrop.  Listen to the song ahead of the album release exclusively now at Rolling Stone!

The film directed by Brent Wilson (no relation), was released in theaters and on demand November 19.
