Today, we celebrate Carter Burwell, award-winning composer of film and television scores including Lakeshore Records releases Mr. Holmes, The Fifth Estate, Fur, Burn After Reading, In Bruges, and the forthcoming Anomalisa.
Carter’s score for Mr. Holmes is on Variety’s Best Scores Of 2015 list and his scores for In Bruges and A Serious Man was recently performed by the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra for a tribute concert in his honor as he was presented with the “Distinguished Composer Award” at this year’s Middleburg Film Festival.
