Rahman (127 Hours, Slumdog Millionaire) and Emmy®-winning writer/director/producer Alex Kurtzman (Transformers Prime, Amazing Spider-Man 2). A.R. Rahman is an Academy Award-winning film music composer who has lent his musical talents to both Hollywood and Bollywood films alike.You can listen to his film score work in Slumdog Millionaire and Lakeshore Records‘ People Like Ussoundtrack, and many other films. Million Dollar Arm features Rahman’s musical work in an inspirational, feel-good film about a sports agent who goes to India to recruit the best cricket players for Major League Baseball.
Million Dollar Arm stars Jon Hamm (MadMen, Howl), Aasif Mandvi (Spider-Man 2) and Alan Arkin (Little Miss Sunshine). Composer A.R. Rahman came into worldwide recognition for his film score work on 127 Hours (Oscar win) and Slumdog Millionaire (Oscar, Grammyand Golden Globe win). A graduate of Trinity College of Music at Oxford University, Rahman’s film music often melds classical music of both western and Indian origins.

Before Elizabeth Banks darted across town in a yellow dress and boop-booped her way into our hearts in Walk of Shame, we saw her in the following films: Daltry Calhoun (watch on YouTube); Definitely, Maybe, with a soundtrack scored byClint Mansell (watch on HitBliss); People Like Us, scored by A.R. The album is packed with solid, danceable tracks and catchy remixes of perennial favorites, “Walking In L.A.” (Motels remix by Scott Park and Corky James), and “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” (by Wang Chung).
Elizabeth Banks stars as May in Daltry Calhoun, a heartwarming story about a struggling golf club owner who meets his 14-year old daughter and learns to be a father for the first time. Definitely, Maybe stars Ryan Reynolds (as politician Will Hayes), Elizabeth Banks and Abigail Breslin (“Perfect Sisters“). Banks plays Emily, one of Will Hayes’ college sweethearts in this tale about a politician who tries to explain his past to his daughter.

In People Like Us, Chris Pine is “Sam,” a salesman trying to settle his recently-deceased father’s estate, only to discover he has a long-lost sister, played by Elizabeth Banks. The Uninvited is a gripping horror story about a girl (played by Emily Browning), who returns home to be greeted by her father’s new girlfriend, Rachel (played by Elizabeth Banks), and some ghosts in her home who appear to provide clues to suggest something sinister about her dad’s new love interest.
