Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland TV series “Bridgerton” on Netflix has taken the world by storm! As reported in Vanity Fair, Netflix reported the series “ranked number one overall in 83 separate countries, including the U.S., U.K., Brazil, France, South Africa, Singapore, India, and Thailand”; making Bridgerton the platform’s “biggest series ever” as it was watched in a record 82 million households globally. (Deadline) And, yes, the series has already been renewed for a Season 2!
Both the Kris Bowers score album and the classical covers soundtrack (Vitamin String Quartet, Duomo) have also been persistently charting at the Top 10 and No. 1 spot on the iTunes soundtrack charts and on Billboard’s Classical charts. For the fourth time, the Creative Arts section of the Emmys has been split into two ceremonies which will take place on September 14 and 15. The Primetime awards will be handed out on Sept. 22 (GoldDerby).
