The 2022 World Soundtrack Awards nominations are in! This year, Film Composer of the Year contenders include Lakeshore Records partners Jonny Greenwood for his work on Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog and Pablo Larrain’s Spencer; Daniel Pemberton for his work on National Geographic’s documentary film The Rescue, Aaron Sorkin’s Amazon Original Being the Ricardos. For Television Composer of the Year, Theodore Shapiro scores a nomination for his work on Dan Erickson and Ben Stiller’s “Severance” (which is also now an EMMY®-nominated score)!

The winners of this year’s Guild of Music Supervisors Awards are in, and women have dominated the space! Music Supervisor Mandi Collier (Film category) took home two Best Music Supervision awards (for Sylvie’s Love and Zola); Liza Richardson (Television category) (“Narcos”, “The Watchmen”) for “Lovecraft Country” Season 1, and Raphaelle Lima (Video Games category) for FIFA 22! The ceremony also honored Diane Warren (Pearl Harbor, Armageddon) with the Icon Award, and Mitchell Leib (The Muppets, “Grey’s Anatomy”) with the Legacy Award.
