If you recall having a blast watching Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire movie, then you probably don’t want to miss his next comedy-drama, Happy New Year, Colin Burstead, making it’s theatrical premiere at the London Film Festival (October 10-21).  After that, lucky fans in the UK will get to see the film on BBC Two over Christmas.  The film features score by Clint Mansell (“High Rise”, “Black Mirror: San Junipero”), which will also have a physical release later this year via our partners at Invada Records — stay tuned!

The Cry is the gripping new four-part BBC drama starring Jenna Coleman (Victoria, Captain America: The First Avenger).  The series features score by BAFTA® and EMMY®-nominated Composer Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, “Marcella”).

Joanna and Alistair travel from Scotland to Australia with their baby son Noah. They’re going to Melbourne to see Alistair’s mother Elizabeth and to fight for custody of Alistair’s 14 year-old daughter Chloe, from his previous marriage to Alexandra.

Joanna is struggling with life as a new mum and the flight to Melbourne is a huge additional strain on her. Noah cries the whole way, to the very apparent dismay of their fellow travellers.

Exhausted and emotional from the journey the couple finally arrive in Australia, where unforeseen events change their lives forever.

Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal and Riz Ahmed.  Directed by BAFTA, Cannes and César (France’s Oscars)-winning Director Jacques Audiard (Dheepan, Un prohete), the film is based on Patrick Dewitt’s acclaimed novel of the same name, follows two brothers—Eli & Charlie Sisters—who are hired to kill a prospector who has stolen from their boss.
