Digital New Releases:

IT’S ALWAYS BLUE: SONGS FROM LEGION – [Download/Listen]
Music by Noah Hawley & Jeff Russo.

[Behind Blue Eyes]: An intense, industrial version of the Who classic that “helped propel the story” according to Russo, the series’ composer. – ComingSoon.net

[Road To Nowhere]: The doom-heavy lyrics reflect the somewhat laissez-faire attitude the mutant show has towards the future, sanity, and, well, normalcy — even moreso thanks to Keller’s floaty vocals and the cloudy synth underneath. Spooky, lovelorn, and only slightly reminiscent of every single slowed-down cover over every superhero trailer ever. – Syfy Wire

Ever since Legion Season 2 debuted on FX, fans have been clamoring to get their hands on the cover songs from the show!  Featuring music by showrunner Noah Hawley and series composer Jeff Russo, “It’s Always Blue: Songs From Legion” also features vocals from the show’s Rachel Keller and Navid Negahban! Already a Top 10 soundtrack on iTunes, the album features Bonus Tracks only available on Apple Music and iTunes!

MR. ROBOT, VOL. 5 – [Download/Listen]
Score by Mac Quayle.

No show/soundtrack relationship may be more complementary than the one over at USA Network’s Mr. Robot… The show’s soundtrack, as composed by Mac Quayle, is a natural extension of the show’s tone and character: twitchy, tightly-wounded, tech-savvy, and ultimately lovely. – Den of Geek

With the recent announcement of Mac Quayle’s Best TV Composer of the Year nomination at this year’s World Soundtrack Awards, there’s no better time than now to celebrate with an immersive listen to Mac’s Season 3 score!  He sure knows how to get inside the mind of Mr. Robot’s Elliot Alderson (played by Rami Malek), because every season we can’t wait to get our hands on his infectious score!

PUPPET MASTER: THE LITTLEST REICH – [Download/Listen]
Score by Fabio Frizzi.

An impressively thematic, often ironically contrasting approach to the insanity onscreen that shows Frizzi’s killer instincts are as lethal as ever, just waiting to spring forth for the horror genre that he helped give new musical lifeblood to. – Film Music Magazine

One aspect that ties everything together is the film’s score, which was composed by Italian maestro Fabio Frizzi, whose work on Lucio Fulci’s films of the 70’s and 80’s has enchanted genre fans for years.  – Dread Central

Directors Sonny Laguna and Tommy Wiklund continue the Puppet Master horror legacy with Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, in theaters and VOD now!  Featuring score by legendary composer Fabio Frizzi, the album also features the original Puppet Master theme by Richard Band!

RLJE Films presents PUPPET MASTER: THE LITTLEST REICH, in theaters and VOD Friday, August 17.

EVENTS SCORE – [pre-order]
Music by Daniel Davies.

“One 60 Clone,” a more sci-fi–leaning effort that maintains a classic feel while leaning on elements of power electronics and ambient music. It’s cinema for the ear, and incredibly beautiful and sinister at the same time. – Revolver

From working on Lost Themes and other releases with John [Carpenter] and Cody to touring with them to writing  songs for John Bergin’s Wednesday Comic and showing up on the companion comp to The Rise of the Synths, this rocker has learned to craft stunning sci-fi synthery in profound ways. – Vehlinggo

As the nephew of “The Horror Master” John Carpenter, there’s no doubt a bit of the dark synth and vintage horror score influence has rubbed off on Daniel Davies!  In his first proper solo album debut, Daniel created this Events Score album for an imagined horror movie.  Out August 31 via Lakeshore Records with limited edition vinyl and cassette coming soon via Burning Witches Records!

REFLECTIONS – [pre-order]
Music by Ludrium.

The music is vocal synth-pop fused with nostalgic feelings and contemplative lyrics. A profound retro sensibility colors the keyboard-driven songs, combining Carpenter’s love of the past with a tight melodic structure. – Vehlinggo

Ludrium, the musical alter-ego of Cody Carpenter (yes that Carpenter), is back with his new album, Reflections, out digitally on August 31!  Unlike his jazzy contributions in collaboration with Daniel Davies on the Condemned horror soundtrack, Cody’s solo album effort reveals a synthpop side to his musical persona.
