EXCLUSIVE! Listen To Sune Rose Wagner’s Cover Of ‘More Human Than Human’ From The ‘Altered Carbon’ Soundtrack | Brooklyn Vegan

Sune’s half-whispered vocal style definitely makes this a double-take cover, as does the piano hook at the beginning that has shades of The Exorcist theme. – Bill Pearls, Brooklyn Vegan

People already watching the “cyberpunk masterpiece” (GameSpot) that is “Altered Carbon” may have heard a snippet of the White Zombie song, “More Human Than Human” as covered by The Raveonette’s Sune Rose Wagner.  Listen to the full song now at Brooklyn Vegan, ahead of the full soundtrack premiere on Friday, February 9 via Lakeshore Records!

The album features original music by Composer Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, Fargo). In addition to the original score, the album includes three songs including a cover of the Johnny Cash standard “Ain’t No Grave” performed by ALTERED CARBON star Renée Elise Goldsberry (Quellcrist Falconer) and Sune Rose Wagner’s performance of White Zombie’s “More Human Than Human”.

All episodes of ALTERED CARBON now streaming on Netflix.

  1. It sounds like John Carpenter’s Halloween, not the exorcist. A movie that Rob Zombie remade, so the connection makes even more sense.
