BLACK MIRROR: BLACK MUSEUM (ORIGINAL SCORE) – [get it here]
Score by Cristobal Tapia de Veer.

Dark, brooding, and hypnotic, the muted opening enters a tribalistic rhythm with a muted piano piercing the pulsations with staccato stabs. Ghostly vocals hover later on, specters that appear briefly before fading quickly into the darkness. The track builds upon the tribal drums and enters the realm of dissonance without becoming offensive to the ears, culminating in a moment of near ritualistic worship. – Dread Central

NETFLIX presents BLACK MIRROR streaming globally where available.

Every minute of this score counts and has meaning and the promises the composer made with that unforgettable main theme are kept throughout an album that was well worth the wait and that I will return to countless times. For me this is his best composition of the year, – Soundtrack Dreams

Ramin Djawadi (“Game of Thrones”, “Westworld”) produced one of the most romantic scores to grace the silver screen in 2017, and it’s coming to vinyl!  We think this would make a perfect gift for a certain holiday in February.  Available January 26.

THE LOBSTER (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK) Vinyl – [pre-order here]
Music featuring Nick Cave, Kylie Minogue and Various Artists.

Beethoven, Shostakovich and Stravinsky all put in prominent appearances, but the most evocative selection here may well be Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue’s morbid country-Gothic ballad “Where the Wild Roses Grow,” with its plaintive plea for unrestrained love: “Do you know where the wild roses grow, so sweet and scarlet and free?”  – Variety

Yorgos Lanthimos’ Academy Award® nominated The Lobster film arrives on vinyl January 26.

BLACK MIRROR: SAN JUNIPERO (ORIGINAL SCORE) – [get it here]
Score by Clint Mansell.

The score played a crucial role in the episode, set in a retro-futuristic 1987 seaside town where a love affair between two young women seems to warp space and time. – The Vinyl Factory

“Mansell’s score is the futuristic well of metallic effects and sad melodies that give ‘San Junipero’ its personality.” – Noisey

Mansell’s score—gentle, yearning, and full of hope—paired magnificently with the more boisterous ’80s pop in the episode, underscoring key emotional moments. – Substream

Charlie Brooker, who took home the Outstanding TV Movie and Outstanding Writing for a TV Movie EMMY® in 2017 for his “San Junipero” episode, was one of the stand-outs from the Black Mirror series on Netflix! In addition, the much-loved “San Junipero” score by Clint Mansell has earned acclaim far and wide, ending up in numerous year-end Best Of lists!  Now, the album is being brought to you on cassette, featuring the now iconic artwork by Butcher Billy.  Score yours today via our friends and partners at Invada Records.
