A struggling NYC artist, John Krasinski, is forced to return to the small middle-American town he left behind after learning about his mother’s illness. Back in the house he grew up in, John is immediately swept up in the problems of his dysfunctional family, high school rival, and an over-eager ex-girlfriend as he faces impending fatherhood with his NYC girlfriend (Anna Kendrick, Academy Award Nominee, Up in the Air, Best Supporting Actress, 2009).  From a script by Jim Strouse that is at turns hilarious and heartbreaking, John Krasinski’s second feature is a poignant look at the bonds of family and friendship.  Also starring Margo Martindale (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Sharlto Copley (Free Fire).  Score by Josh Ritter.

LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (Rent It Here: Download)

Little Miss Sunshine is about a dysfunctional family who races across the country in a VW bus to get their little girl (Abigail Breslin) into a beauty pageant finals.  The film won two Academy Awards® including Best Supporting Actor for Alan Arkin.  The soundtrack featuring music by Mychael Danna and DeVotchKa received a GRAMMY® nomination.

THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT (Rent It Here: iTunes)

I DON’T KNOW HOW SHE DOES IT (Rent It Here: iTunes)

Kate Reddy (Sarah Jessical Parker of SEX AND THE CITY FRANCHISE) is a finance executive who manages the ultimate balancing act between work and her adoring family. With the support of her best friend and fellow working mother Allison (Christina Hendricks of TV’s MAD MEN), Kate generally manages to keep her out-of-work husband Richard (Greg Kenner of LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE), two young children and colleagues happy.  But life gets difficult when she lands a lucrative new account that requires frequent travel, at the same time Richard receives a job offer he can’t refuse.  Further complicating matters are her ambitious, child-phobic junior associate Momo (Olivia Munn of TV’s PERFECT COUPLES) and new business partner Jack (Pierce Brosnan of MAMMA MIA!, JAMES BOND FRANCHISE), who becomes an unexpected source of temptation.  Based on the novel by Allison Pearson.  Score by Aaron Zigman.
