Paul Haslinger has a great resume. At 51 years old, the Austrian-born composer and producer can list both Vienna’s Academy of Music and the University of Vienna under Previous Education and slot Tangerine Dream as Previous Employer of five years, during which he recorded 15 albums and participated in four international tours… More recently, Haslinger’s scored the incredible first season of AMC’s new ’80s set drama, Halt and Catch Fire. – Consequence of Sound (July 2014)
Lakeshore Records will release Halt And Catch Fire (Original Television Series Soundtrack) digitally on August 19, with the CD to follow in September. The album features an original score by composer Paul Haslinger (Fear The Walking Dead, Underworld), who began his career as a member of Electronic Music pioneers Tangerine Dream and toured with them extensively from 1985-90. AMC’s HALT AND CATCH FIRE will return for season three on Tuesday, August 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes. New episodes will air in the series’ regular time slot of Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning Tuesday, August 30.
