Blackwood: Score By Grammy Winner Lorne Balfe Available Now, Psychological Thriller Starring Ed Stoppard & Sophia Myles Now On DVD (UK)

Lorne Balfe’s Powerful Score Supports The Intense Range Of Emotions In Adam Wimpenny-Directed ‘Blackwood’

It’s an intimate and deep score and you don’t get a furious string cue like “Cadenza” every day. That one alone is worth the price of the score. Welcome once again Lorne Balfe inside your soul. He keeps coming with different stories covering the entire range of feelings you could think of and this is why he is one of my favorite composers. Just keep them coming, Lorne… –Soundtrack Dreams

Lakeshore Records is very pleased to release Blackwood (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) — available now digitally — featuring the score by Lorne Balfe, Grammy® Award winning, Emmy® and BAFTA®-nominated film composer from Inverness, Scotland.  Lorne is known for composing the scores to Dreamworks Animation’s Penguins of Madagascar and Home.  Lorne is currently working on the score for Terminator Genisys, due in theaters Summer 2015.  Helmed by award-winning director Adam Wimpenny, Blackwood is available now on DVD (UK).  See full album details below.
